When you are happy with the design and all is finalised, we are ready to submit the plans to your local authority planning department.
Some projects are classed as PD in which case we apply for a certificate of Lawful Development as the certificate forms a vital part of your home records should you wish to sell them. Projects are mostly submitted as Full Planning Applications.
We handle all the supporting material where required including numerous forms and policy casework.
Over the years we have developed great relationships with planners and we aim to communicate and negotiate in order to make the application a success. We also give advice on how to approach your neighbours in order to avoid conflict and tension.
After planning permission has been submitted, it is then validated by the Planning Department. A Planning Officer is then allocated, and a decision is made within eight weeks.
